ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING - FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

Students of Class 2009 were having one day field trip on March 3rd, 2010 which is conducted annually for freshmen. Objectives of the program are exposing students to environmental engineering’s practices and inspiring them to study hard and having goals for their future. This year, the trip was followed by 119 students which divided into two groups and guided by a lecturer for each group. Destinations were PT Apac Inti Corpora, Bawen, PDAM Ungaran, and PT Sosro, Ungaran.

On Thursday, February, 25, 2010, a survey team of Environmental Engineering Department’s researchers and students were heading to Brebes City for surveying Pemali River. It was an initial survey to determine sampling location for River Classification Assessment Project. The project is set to assess and determine the class of Pemali River based on its water quality, consisting of physical, chemical, and biological parameters. The surveyors were Ir. Winardi Dwi Nugraha, MSi, Ika Bagus Priyambada, ST, MEngSc, Mochamad Arief Budihardjo, ST, MEngSc, Sri Hapsari Budisulistiorini, ST, MEngSc, Desy Wahyuningsih, and Dewanti Oktiviana.
